Replacement of damaged cash
The Bank of Slovenia exchangees damaged euro banknotes, euro coins, and tolar banknotes.
You can exchange damaged cash in two ways:
1. REPLACEMENT BY POST
Damaged cash can be sent to the following address, together with a completed application for replacement*:

No commission or postage is charged for the replacement.
* the same application is used for exchange of damaged euro banknotes and euro coins, as well as tolar banknotes.
2. REPLACEMENT AT BANK OF SLOVENIA COUNTERS
Damaged cash may also be brought in person to the Bank of Slovenia counters.
