Summer Night at the Museum of Banka Slovenije
The special 20th anniversary Summer Night at the Museum will be celebrated on 18 June this year. For the second year running, to mark this occasion we will be putting on a diverse programme for various age groups at the Banka Slovenije Museum. That day the museum will be open from 6 pm to 10 pm.
The Banka Slovenije Museum, which is part of the efforts of Banka Slovenije to boost financial literacy in the general public, has been in operation for just over a year. On 19 May 2021 the museum was officially opened by Slovenian President Borut Pahor and Banka Slovenije Governor Boštjan Vasle. During this time we have successfully hosted and guided numerous groups of various ages, with visitors ranging from kindergarten children to 90 year-olds. The guiding and workshops are adapted each time to the specific visitors. The museum has also been visited by the head of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde. The museum contains three major sections.
For this year’s Summer Night at the Museum we are organising two main events. At 6 pm there will be a guided tour and workshops for children, specifically for the following four age groups: preschool children, first triad primary pupils, second triad pupils, third triad pupils and young people. The guided tours and workshops will be adapted to the age of the children, so we kindly ask for prior registration with an indication of the child’s age, by Friday 17 June 2022, by e-mail at: [email protected]
The guided museum tour for adults will be at 8 pm. Due to limited places we advise you to guarantee a spot by registering with [email protected] by Friday 17 June 2022.
Join us for the Summer Night at the Museum of Banka Slovenije!
We look forward to welcoming you.
