During Ljubljana Art Weekend, join us for a brunch prepared by Živa Hanc, a freelance chef and art historian, accompanied by a presentation of the fourth issue of ETC. magazine titled Comfort Zone. Together with Živa we will discuss themes of nostalgia, tradition and community through the notions of comfort food, cuisine and regional customs.
Although Živa Hanc never intended to work in hospitality, she has found that working with food and wine relates to some of the same concepts that excited her when she was studying art: beauty, the complex relationship between people and nature, the historical development of social norms, authorial influence and, above all, the elusive blending of cultures.
