In the first eleven months of 2024, the current account of the balance of payments showed a surplus of EUR 3.3 billion, which is EUR 0.5 billion more than in the same period in 2023. The trade in services and goods generated a total surplus of EUR 4.1 billion, which is EUR 0.3 billion more than a year ago, while primary and secondary incomes recorded a deficit of EUR 0.9 billion, which was EUR 0.2 billion lower year-on-year.
