Balance sheet total of insurance corporations amounted to 9.8 billion EUR at the end of September 2024, which is 7.8% more than at the end of 2023. They mostly invested in debt securities (4.4 billion EUR) and investment fund shares/units (2.3 billion EUR). Insurance technical reserves (5.6 billion EUR) and equity (3.2 billion EUR) prevailed within liabilities.
