Banka Slovenije received 33 reports of breaches via its reporting system last year

Under Article 269 of the ZBan-3, Banka Slovenije publishes a report on potential and actual breaches of the regulations referred to in the second paragraph of Article 9 of the ZBan-3. In the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 inclusive, Banka Slovenije received 33 reports under the breach reporting system. In 19 cases, potential breaches of the ZBan-3 or other regulations under its remit were found; in line with the reporting system’s rules, 14 reports were dealt by Banka Slovenije in accordance with their jurisdiction and five reports were forwarded to the European Central Bank (ECB) for further resolution. 12 reports were related to reports by consumers, which do not fall within the scope of the reporting system and are being dealt with by other departments at Banka Slovenije. Two reports were deficient and could not be addressed.
