Banka Slovenije received 32 reports of breaches via its reporting system last year

Under Article 269 of the ZBan-3, Banka Slovenije publishes a report on potential and actual breaches of the regulations referred to in the second paragraph of Article 9 of the ZBan-3. In the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 inclusive, Banka Slovenije received 32 reports under the breach reporting system. In 14 cases, potential breaches of the ZBan-3 or other regulations under its remit were found; in line with the reporting system’s rules, 10 reports were dealt by Banka Slovenije in accordance with their jurisdiction and 4 reports were forwarded to the European Central Bank (ECB) for further resolution. Among 32 reports, 14 were related to reports by consumers, which do not fall within the scope of the reporting system and 4 reports were deficient and could not be addressed.
