On 20 October 2026, the National Assembly appointed Arjana Brezigar as Vice Governor of Banka Slovenije. She will take up her position of Vice Governor and member of the Governing Board of Banka Slovenije once the internal procedures stipulated by the Banka Slovenije Act have been completed. Her term of office will last six years, with the possibility of reappointment.
