Gold medal marking the 10th anniversary of the tolar

The front of the medal features a stylised image of one of the four figures of Atlas from the façade of the Banka Slovenije building. The athletic figure of Atlas symbolises solidity, strength and stability, and is associated with the tolar. The upper left features the inscription “Banka Slovenije”, while the year of issue of 2001 appears towards the lower edge. The reverse of the medal features the Banka Slovenije logo and two years: 1991 (the year of the introduction of the tolar) and 2001 (the year of issue). The years share the final digit, to symbolise this period.

The designer of the layout and the stylised image of Atlas is Daniel Artiček junior.
