Fee comparison and analysis
Banka Slovenije aims to ensure that users are as well-informed as possible about the fees that payment service providers charge for services in connection with payment accounts.
To make it simple to have an overview of these fees, Banka Slovenije provides a free website for comparing the fees for typical services charged by various providers. Our aim is to make it easier for users to choose their preferred payment service provider inside the SEPA.
Since 2009 we have also drawn up analysis of fees for payment services, which is released once a year in a special publication (available in Slovene).
The comparison website for consumer fees charged by commercial banks and savings banks to consumers includes the most commonly used packages of service. It enables consumers to review and compare packages at and between individual providers based on the range of services and their quantities included in each package. Consumers can also estimate the total costs according to their payment habits, if the services they use are not included in the selected package.
For additional information and other offers, please contact individual providers.
Slovenian Consumers’ Association comparison site
An overview and analysis of the fees charged by payment service providers (banks and savings banks) to their users can also be found on the Slovenian Consumers’ Association comparison site. The details can be found on its website (available in Slovene).
The comparison site is a product offered by the Slovenian Consumers’ Association, and is for information purposes only. Banka Slovenije does not accept any liability for the accuracy of the figures.
Comparison of payment services of non-bank providers
In addition to banks and savings banks, payment services are also provided by non-bank providers (payment institutions and electronic money institutions) that hold the requisite Banka Slovenije authorisation.
