From 17 to 24 April 2025 the Academy of Fine Arts and Design from University of Ljubljana will host the graphic studio Formal Settings, which will provide a workshop on typography for students.
Formal Settings is a Berlin and Copenhagen typography and graphic design studio, which works together with various international clients, mainly in the fields of art and culture, to create typographically designed visual communications and publications. The studio was founded in 2014 by Amanda-Li Kollberg & Siri Lee Lindskrog, co-authors of the book Notes On Book Design, which was published in 2023 with Dutch publisher Onomatopee and is available at MoMA PS1 Bookstore (USA), Printed Matter (USA), Draw Down Books (USA), Stedelijk Museum (Netherlands), San Seriffe (Netherlands), Idea Books (Netherlands), Centre Georges Pompidou (France) and elsewhere.
On 22 April between 4 and 8 pm Mala galerija Banke Slovenije will take the opportunity to hold a one-day pop-up exhibition focused on their typographical practices.
