On Wednesday, 3 December, the Banka Slovenije museum opens its doors between 1 pm and 6 pm. You can join a guided tour at 1 pm, or view the museum independently. To take part in a guided tour, it is best to register at [email protected], as places are limited. You need to have a personal document with you to identify yourself at the museum reception on the ground floor. Entrance is free of charge.
While strolling around the festive lights and sights of Ljubljana on This Merry Day of Culture, you might also play the Hunt for Lost Money digital game. The game takes place in the open air, in the immediate vicinity of the museum, and is available in Slovene only. During the game you get to move between specific points in the city with a link to the tolar, Slovenia’s first and only independent currency. You can play the game as a team or on your own, and you will need a mobile phone and about half an hour to play. Start by clicking the online link or using the QR code that can be found on posters and on one of the windows outside the entrance to the museum (at the junction of Cankarjeva and Tomšičeva, behind the Nama department store). The link to play the game will also be published on Facebook and Instagram on the day. Everyone who successfully completes the game and reports to the museum at Cankarjeva 1 (second floor) by 6 pm will receive a gift.
We look forward to seeing you!
