The hand engraved portrait of the impressionist painter Rihard Jakopič is the main motif on the front of the banknote. The profile silhouette filled up with microwriting completes the image. In the middle of the left hand area of the banknote a painting palette and two paintbrushes are depicted. The watermark bears the face of Rihard Jakopič.

On the back a detail from Jakopic´s painting "The Sun" is represented, and the plan of the former Jakopic Pavilion in Ljubljana is printed by the intaglio method.
